• Food today, hope tomorrow.
In Andhra Pradesh, the pandemic turned daily wage workers into the newly starving. Through our F1000 initiative, we delivered food kits to over 10,000 people across 14 villages, with special attention to low-caste families and widowed who are often forgotten by society. Our kits—packed with essentials like rice, turmeric, and onions—offered not just nutrition, but dignity.

• From survival to self-sufficiency.
A tangible example: Zion High School, Cross Mission’s English-medium school, offers a lifeline in rural India. With over 300 students enrolled in grades K–12, it's more than a school—it’s a launchpad out of poverty. But without stable funding, last year 100 children were turned away.
We're also investing in women’s empowerment—training low-caste women how to sew, type, and build skills that shift generational poverty into sustainable livelihoods.
Empower a child. Train a mother. Transform a village.

• Community
Strong social relationships increase the likelihood of survival by 50% according to Harvard multi-study summary.
Community is not just where we serve, it is who we are.
From village leaders to volunteers, every distribution is built on relationships formed in trust and shared effort.
We believe long-term impact starts with deep local presence, not distant intervention.

Community Centers are what will drive change, so we're aiming to plant 1,000 across India. We have seen these centers maintain orphanages and schools, and launch community impact initiatives in times of crisis. Each center provides a neutral roof, perhaps the only in the village, for inter-caste gathering to encounter community, education, and aid. Our vision is to pair USA donors with a village community center for five years to launch, operate, and grow out of the need for donor funds.
